CONSULTANCY
Where supply and installation are not required services, GAT Energy can still offer high levels of expertise in terms of consultancy. A recent example of this is the provision of a specification and design review for an air conditioning system supplied locally and installed in the Middle East on behalf of a multi-national client.

DESIGN
As part of the design and build process, GAT Energy carefully review all of the customer's requirements, establishing the most efficient and cost effective solution, and producing detailed design documentation to give a complete understanding of the proposed scheme to the customer.

We use the most up-to-date IT software technology in order to present information professionally, and we are flexible enough to meet our customers' varied design requirements.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Our ethos is one of pro-activity throughout. We are in total control of our projects, and we maintain regular communication with our customers. Ongoing reviews with our customers ensures that they are fully informed of a project's progress, allowing us to dovetail with their development programme perfectly and ensuring that the project is completed to schedule.

INSTALLATION
The highest calibre installation engineers, together with the best quality materials, combined with close project management, ensure our installations are second to none. We work to strict in-house specifications together with UK national and other codes to maintain quality control. We effectively manage the constraints of deadlines and even space!

COMMISSIONING
Ensuring that the HVAC system is properly commissioned and operating to its specified design is essential. This is particularly important when the system may be shipped half way around the world before reaching its final destination. We work hard to ensure no check is left out and meticulous documented records are kept.

HAZARDOUS ENVIRONMENTS
In dealing with the oil industry, plant may be required to operate within an area where an explosive atmosphere may occur. We have direct experience of all or part of the systems provided being suitable for hazardous areas.

When electrical equipment is installed into a hazardous area, special precautions must be undertaken to ensure that the equipment itself does not provide a possible source of ignition to the atmosphere present. The equipment must be safe even if a fault has occurred.

We frequently provide pressurisation plant as part of our systems as a means of ensuring the building is kept free from contaminants. The positive pressure excludes dust and other harmful atmospheric pollutants by maintaining an outflow at all building apertures. In doing so we need to ensure that the air coming into the building apertures is clean, for which we would provide an air treatment plant for dusty, polluted and corrosive environments operating in outside ambient conditions.

The noise generated by plant needs to be controlled to appropriate levels. Attenuation can be expensive so we work hard to find the most appropriate equipment for the job to minimise these costs. We have provided systems for office type locations where requirement is stringent to unoccupied plant buildings where noise is not an issue.
