GAT ENERGY LTD
was established in April of 1997 by Guy A Thornton BSc, following many years of experience
working within the manufacturing and contracting sectors of air conditioning.
GAT Energy Ltd are specialists in the design, installation and commissioning of air
conditioning systems covering a wide spectrum of applications specifically for the
commercial and industrial market, from night clubs to the hazardous environments of oil
refineries.
The priority in meeting a building's air conditioning requirements is to maintain a
suitable internal environment whatever the external ambient conditions. The internal
environment is governed by the usage of the building and we are familiar with a wide
variety of requirements for personnel, robust electrical switchgear and sensitive
electronic equipment, together with combinations of these.
The external environments encountered around the world vary enormously by location and by
season and we are proud to state we have not encountered an extreme of climate yet which
has beaten us. Additionally we frequently encounter the enhanced requirement of corrosive,
polluted and potentially explosive atmospheres with which to deal.
We combine all of these factors together with the customer's particular specified needs to
arrive at a solution which is the best in engineering practice, fit for and appropriate to
the requirement and the best economic solution.
The best solution may involve ventilation, heating and/or mechanical cooling employing
standard equipment, modified standard equipment and/or custom made plant, all of which are
approaches we have taken to various requirements.
The technology and efficiency of a building's heating, ventilation and air conditioning
stems from the actual design and we are very proud of the systems that we have created
over the years.
GAT Energy has successfully completed a series of major projects within the oil industry
and elsewhere for high profile clients and their end users world wide. This demands not
only skilled and innovative HVAC design and engineering, but meticulous attention to
detail in the high level of accompanying documentation.
